Gassing Up with Milfoil
We investigate alternative fuel resources such as Eurasian Milfoil (Myriophyllum spicatum) and then compare existing biodiesel sources such as corn and commercially graded diesel by using the Kittiwake System. We will accomplish this by testing the water content, density, acid content and the visual quality. We will also investigate the economic benefits of producing each type of biodiesel.
